For Coaches
Know who's showing up before you arrive at the field — so you can plan your session and never be caught short.
When you create an event, every parent on the roster is notified. Parents open the event in their Squad app and mark their child as Going, Maybe or Can't go. You see a live count on the event card in your schedule — no chasing text messages or counting replies in a group chat.

The breakdown updates in real time as parents respond. Check it the evening before an event for the most accurate head count.
Parents who haven't responded appear in the No reply list. The quickest way to follow up is via the team Messages tab — send a reminder to all parents asking them to confirm by a certain date. This reaches everyone at once and keeps the conversation visible to all team members.
Squad tracks availability — what parents say in advance — not physical presence at the venue. It's possible a player marked as attending doesn't show up on the day, and vice versa. Use the RSVP data as a planning tool, not an official attendance register. For formal attendance records, note down who actually arrives at each session.
Knowing your head count in advance lets you:
Each player's RSVP history is stored against their profile. You can review their attendance pattern across the season from the roster view. This is useful for having honest conversations with parents about commitment and for making fair decisions around playing time.
